Kiffin knows what works. He doesn't need Ward but could absolutely use Ward. Kiffin is doing work with a former D2 player and making that player look like a better QB than Arnold. He did work with Blake Sims! Freeze is reliant on QBs that dont want to be with him.

I am not defending Freeze for getting Arnold but it's not like great QBs seek to sign with him. The guy committed this class has a pulse but are we expecting anything phenomenal no.

Wouldn’t have mattered who he chose, he and Austin would have destroyed any of them.

Freeze and QB coach seem to practice the school of QB regression.

The story of Bo Nix is literally sitting right in your face as the perfect example, and you fail to interpret it. Nix looked average at Auburn for three years under late-stage Malzahn and Harsin, and then he immediately turned into a Heisman candidate as soon as he stepped foot at Oregon.

After his comeback win against the NY Giants from 19-0 down, he's the hottest QB in the NFL. Gus's O-line's were like turnstiles and he was constantly running for his life.
