Your timeline is a little off. Foley hired Zook after Spurrier left for the NFL, then hired Meyer midway through Zook's 3rd season. But since he was the Associate AD under Bill Arnsparger (who had no previous AD experience) I tend to give him credit for hiring Spurrier too. And he hired (and fired) both Andy Lopez and Pat McMahon before hiring O'Sullivan, so his record there is somewhat mixed as well.
