Auburn takes offensive on road to annihilate Arkansas
ESPN headline... feels f'ing good. First AU game I've watched at a bar in 3-4 years... guess I need to be at a bar for the Iron Bowl.
Offense
O Line - Good time on passing plays and my goodness the holes on run plays.
P Thorne - Continuing to improve. Once he was given "full time" keys he's really taken off with the job. He's now getting the ball out and delivering accurate throws downfield. Needs to work on his touch in the short game.
J Hunter - Coaches have started feeding him the rock. He may be gone. Going to end up top 10-15 back IMO because he's a good blocker. I'm not sure if he's not a great receiver or if Thorne's throws were just off.
J Johnson - Guy has stepped up as a WR who can catch and made plays when we needed it.
Defense
3rd Down Defense - 1 of 12 is a ridiculous stat.
Eugene Asante - Continues to lead from the LB position. Leading tackler on a front 7 who allowed only 60 yards on the ground other than a long run by a backup QB in garbage time.
J McLeod - Sack hat trick. All that needs to be said.
M Harris - This dude has stepped up big time. 1.5 sacks and flat out disruptive in the interior DLine. Feels like any time he's on the field he's around the tackle.
Keionte Scott - Punt return TD plus part of a lockdown secondary.

Also does not get enough credit for his running ability and making the right decision on zone read plays.
I wish we could go back and play that 4 game gauntlet over again with the way this team is playing now. 2-2 or 3-1 would be quite possible.
