Should the practices be changed to include more "game-like" situations?

During the season, you can only go full-contact once per week according to NCAA rules. I seriously doubt any coach let's his QB get hit (I know Hugh doesn't), so it's still not the same. Maybe coaches need to rethink this policy. I don't think it's wise to have a QB's first contact come during games. It's one thing to throw a dart when you KNOW no one can hit you. It's another to do it when Nick Fairley is finna suplex you.

Freeze was saying that he wants to reward people who practice well. I get it. You want practice to matter. But, if a guy sucks in games, how is that fair to the other guys behind him?

I think Crain made a good point the other day. He said a coach would have no problem pulling a DT or safety who stunk it up and putting the backup in. Why is there a double standard for QB?

Yup. And then Freeze will get the same results as he did last preseason scrimmages when both Ashford and Holden outperformed PT.

Dont know bout that but tendencies when tackling is live get revealed. Such as how one will handle himself before he knows he's about to get popped versus a simple jersey tug.
