I am staying at the Luxor. I think the cost is around $68/night for 2 queens.

FWIW Hard Rock is really good deal right now. Get a 50 buck credit for food and drink and its about 140 for two days.

Currently also have a room at the Mandalay Bay The Hotel for 79 a night with a 100 dollar credit. Gotta figure it out soon. Just booked my flights.

I found a tower room with king bed at Luxor for $49 a night. Booked right after the SECCG win so rates may have gone up by now?

Got a room on hold at Planet Hollywood from thurs-tues, 5 nights.

Just started a new job though and have to make sure I can take the days off before booking the flight, then figure out the ticket.

$200 for the room for the trip, with my comps.

Hope I can make it.

What do you play to get those comps?

I mostly just play BJ. I may sit at the bar on occasion and play like $5 on the video poker machine for a few minutes for a "free" drink, or sometimes play craps for small because one of my buddies loves craps and I just do it to be social with him or the others at the craps table, but otherwise just BJ.

It is a combination of time, buy in, and bet size. I don't spend much time (probably 1-2 hours max in a 24 hour period, sometimes less than an hour), but I buy in with a pretty good bit and play a pretty good bet size, usually a couple of hands at a time.

Wynn and Encore are sister properties right by each other on the north end of the strip. They are super nice, high end properties, They sorta cater to a visual paradise type experience with their background music (which is kinda peaceful) as well. Along with Aria and the Venetian they are probably have the highest limits and attract the higher end clients. Surrender is an awesome night club in the Wynn. My favorite club during the summer. The outdoor pool and cabana set up is amazing. The cabana's on the second level are just absurdly stocked and loaded with everything imaginable.

I've never stayed there though. I like the more centrally located properties that tend to be more lively. But the Wynn is ultra high end, maybe the nicest in vegas along with Aria and Nobu

I didn't make the reservations but I trusted my Dad who did. We are old (43&64) and are going to some show Saturday night and driving to Pasadena Sunday. I'm gonna put a few $$ on Dufner in all four majors, he will win one IYAM. We are driving back to Vegas after game because our friends have to make early flight. Dad and I are gonna stay in Vegas until Wednesdy...
You know, Male Bonding.

Wynn is a great choice then. That is sorta the most common age range there I would say. And the Wynn is super nice and on of the newer properties (along with Aria).

Like I said, I have not seen the rooms, but the lobby, downstairs, casino, and pool are just pure luxury there.
