One of my favorite former Tigers. Hate that he isn't with the Braves anymore.

The Braves are looking for their standard "light hitting, great leadership" back-up veteran catcher this offseason.

I have read that Ross is on the list of potentials.

This would be awesome. Especially after feeling crapped on between the stadium move and the horrendous season.

That's what I'm saying. How could that guy be someone's favorite player when he was pretty much a nobody while he was here.

Didn't he hit a walkoff in the regional round vs fsu in like 2000?

He transferred to Florida after the 1997 season, so I'm going with a strong no.

Oh well maybe before? I swear I remember something about him hitting a walkoff cause he was from Tallahassee or something. Maybe I'm just making it all up

Bottom 9 down 2 to fsu in 1997 regional in Tallahassee he hit a 2 strike 2 out 3 run hr that put us to the championship with fsu the next day. Lost first game, Hudson won the second and sent us to the CWS

And who was one of the two players on base at the time he hit the HR?
