With the recent surge in recruiting and many expecting it to continue into the summer, what would you grade the class as of now? Considering were still early in the process but what do you guys think so far. Also who’s your must get prospect for this class?
I personally am pleased so far. Adding DD at QB can only help with OL as well as prospects in Texas. I think we end up with Williams the WDE and Roberts the OG, Davis’s teammate, before the summer is over. That’s pretty good heading into the season.

Have to give OP credit here. Despite him being a very thought full guy, this thread isn’t another long novel and he showed impressive restraint.

For the OP —
Biggest needs for the class were QB and OL.
QB is an easy A for me. It’s somewhat rare that you get a top QB this late in a cycle. Sounds like Morris dialed in on him out of the gate and he put us in good shape with both Salter and Drones in the event we couldn’t get Davis. I’m expecting QB recruiting to be very good going forward. Wouldn’t shock me if they sign someone else on signing day for depth.
I’ll give a B- to OL so far. Johnson is a blue chipper that we really needed. I think the floor is super high on him. Langlo might move up the rankings in a way that Cohen did last year. Gooch has bad size and will need a complete physical overhaul. Certainly not done at this position group.
Should be a small WR, TE, and LB class. Only need one more RB. I imagine we’ll see a good amount of DL and DBs fill out this class.
