Why the frick is the Auburn board allowed to be the poly board?
I wasn't speaking to your post...just responding to that pathetic press. I can see why we are getting whipped in recruiting. I haven't shared opinions on the abysmal recruiting numbers because I was glad we went outside the good ole boy network and believed COVID was an issue. However, I was not impressed with that presser. Say what you mean, I can handle it if I disagree. Watch his eyes...he's not talking from his heart he's reading a prepared statement.

Cya, if you think Harsin is a poor leader then I guess you must want someone to hold your hand in life. All we talk about is how these players are adults then they get to make their own decisions.

You aren't listening. I said he clearly is anti-vac but spent 10 minutes acting like he was trying to provide the players with a choice. You can't lead a football team from that place...his players see through it and it will cost those that support Auburn beginning with the players.
I would disagree if he told the players not to vac or he's not going to vac, but I guarantee his players would respect that more than what he just did on that zoom.

Dude, you're looking for something that's just not there.
He looked at notes during the entire conference, whether he was talking about covid, team captains, the OL, etc.
You have an agenda and choose to follow that agenda regardless of facts.
Have a good night.

I will admit he might be a terrible public speaker...but do you believe his 10 minutes of speak on the vac and covid was from the heart?

You have no fricking idea what’s going on in that locker yet you somehow perceive lack of leadership and now you’re some forensic psychologist who can read his eyes? Get the frick out of here. “I’m out on Harsin” after 2 weeks of camp…good riddance. You’re fricking pathetic. Jeezus we’ve got some pussies out here.

I just thought I'd go on record. I'll be happy to support the team and will hope Harsin grows into the opportunity. I had the same hope for Gus and plenty of post on here to support my desire he'd would get it. I wish he'd say what he thinks and lead his team the way he wants to lead them. IMO it would be better for the program even if it would be an issue in a pandemic.
How do you know I'm not a forensic psychologist or and FBI profiler?

Bad take man. You’re projecting. I really don’t see what’s so hard about taking people at face value. I get that some people are all about the political life but there’s a lot of people that aren’t. Not everything has political undertones. Take the man at what he says until he proves to you that you can’t.

Nah bro you are equivocating like a motherfricker now that people are jumping your shite. “I’m out on Harsin” is what you said. Which is such a bitch thing to say

100% agree. I'm not "out" on him, but his handling of Covid is weak as hell.
I really thought he'd be a disciplinarian like the guy across the state, but this tip-toeing around has me shaking my head. Definitely not the leader I hoped he would be.

Even though you only have 192 post and mentioned supporting Alabama in this post. I appreciate you seeing the weak leadership I saw. I realize most of the other posting are concerned as well, but it isn't time for them to admit it.

A few thoughts here.
There’s a lot of reasons why recruiting is at where it’s at (pretty good spot in terms of average recruit rating, especially when you drop the kicker from the equation). Casual followers struggle with the idea that it’s a cumulative score that depends on volume. There’s a ton of dogshit classes ahead of Auburn’s and nobody is particularly excited with it.
I get a chuckle when someone that’s inactive on the recruiting thread feels the need to inform the board that we’re missing out on their unoriginal take that recruiting isn’t where we’d like it. As if that thread hasn’t gone through 50 cycles of the same goddamn conversation centering around the ranking. I’d like to have my own head so far up my arse one day to think that my common opinion is being missed by anyone

Pinned thread at the top. Join it or don’t. But don’t act like we’re missing out on something special because you haven’t bothered gracing us with your presence. We’ve heard it all by now. Christ

First, I admit I don't actively (post on this board) follow recruiting. I stopped when a kid with an Auburn tattoo decommitted and went to our rival. I've read the recruiting thread everyday and appreciate your efforts on it.
Second, I appreciate your thoughtful response.
Third, I do have some understanding of good leadership and stand by my opinion that his zoom was an example of mediocre leadership. I'll support the team and will support Harsin. I'm more concerned than I was about the future after watching that ridiculous 10 minutes.

This isn’t bait - pure curiosity: have you watched many of his pressers? Because from the moment he was hired I was pointing out that the motherfricker can talk a circle around you

I’m not in love with Harsin. There’s a number of things I’ve liked and disliked about his first 8 months on the job. I’m confident that if we struggle this season that much of this board will grow tired of his long-winded, disorganized stories that end in an answer to the original prompt. But, we’ll adjust. This guy wasn’t hired to do anything quickly. He did a good job patching up the 2 deep with guys that can compete on the SEC level but this is going to be a process. To be seen it any of us have the patience to see it through.

I've seen the comments on his pressers and will reserve that info for future opportunities to form opinions.
The vac...I'm of the opinion there aren't many left that don't have strong opinions and at this point believe he does and chose to shade them.
I can admit I hope you are right. I will support the players and his team. Mark this post. I just not impressed with that zoom and what seems obvious concerning his leadership in this particular situation.
