TF he didn’t. Every play also mattered, but Bigsby did exactly what Bama wanted and needed.

Timeouts were being called. Last things said by the coaches should have been stay in bounds and 2 hands on the football.
If they failed to do that then that's on coaching. Either way everything rolls to the head coach. Players behavior on and off the field. Performance, execution, wins/losses, everything. That is the standard. Has been since around the late 90's.

Corch I was at an Iron Bowl party and even a casual female fan asked why he went put of bounds. Bigsby knew better.

Not disagreeing but if we are discussing coaching that should have been what the coaches were saying on the sideline. Especially with Bama using their timeouts so it wasn't like the game was just flowing and Tank was just in the moment.
As far as a head coach grade it has to be a D. Regardless of where anyone else is ranked. We are 1 bowl win from it being a D+ or 1 bowl loss from it being an F.

It wouldn’t surprise me if the coaching staff did tell him to get down. Just like seeing Delilah bathing on the rooftop, Bigsby saw the first down marker and got tempted into being the hero.
