It would have been bad for Auburn to hire Hugh Freeze yesterday, but after the last 24 hours, hiring him would be cancerous for the program. Pro-Freeze and Anti-Freeze people are dug in, and you still get the same baggage that Freeze already had. For better or worse, you have to move on.

I don’t know about that comparison. Bruce loves his players. I never got the impression that urban gave a shite about his as long as they helped him win.
