No idea why we offered him. He's not going to contribute as a freshman imo.

I would tend to agree. There are only so many "sure thing" freshman out there and you better have deep pockets to secure their commitment. It's why picking up 4-6 freshman per class is a thing of the past under most circumstances. They won't stick around to be developed but will be paid for their time on the bench and then will leave for another program to "get playing time". Money is better spent on transfers, Bruce even stated NIL changed the way he recruited and the number of freshman he recruited.

The class he brings in once the transfer portal opens up is uber important. I hope miniP is prepared to settle some concerns.
