What part of Jax are in? I was in Arlington (Charter Point) in the early 80's and then San Marco off and on in the 90s.

So, way south Duval. I don't know it well but there have been significant changes south/southeast.

Let’s ride then! I’m a lightweight though, but we can get on here and shitpost everyone until sunrise afterwards.

Im coming to Amelia Island for a family vacation in a few weeks. Not really sure why but hey, I am just doing as I am told
I really need some info on the boating/fishing scene there in late August. Im trying to decide If I am going to bring my boat or not

I’ve seen some nice redfish taken at Fenandina and Mayport in the last few weeks. Of course at Amelia, you can fish around the marshland and get sheepshead, flounder, redfish and sea trout. I normally don’t go north of Mayport though, so I can’t tell you the best spots off the top of my head.

Thanks. I will have a big family there and about 8-10 who will want me to take them boating somewhere. Id love to find a sandbar or something nice to take them and anchor up for the day. Just to chill. Been looking and there are few places there like we have here.
My usual weekend hangout.

Yeah, I grew up going to the gulf coast. Nothing like that here water wise, but you can find plenty of fun places to anchor the boat.
