Due to our close game against #1 Houston on Sunday, Auburn stayed put at #22 in the AP Poll… extending our streak of 37 consecutive weeks ranked in the AP Top 25.

Auburn currently has the 6th longest active streak of being ranked in the AP poll, behind only Houston (109 week), Tennessee (83), Purdue (62), Duke (47), and Kentucky (45).

This streak now stands as the 18th longest streak of being ranked in SEC history and the 6th longest not involving Kentucky.

Since the 2017-2018 season, Auburn has been ranked in the AP Poll 113 times, which is 8th most in the nation during that time… behind only Kansas, Gonzaga, Duke, Tennessee, Kentucky, Houston, and Purdue.

Going into the 2017-18 season, Auburn ranked #79 nationally in most appearances. Now 8 seasons later, Auburn has moved up to #51, passing Duquesne, Cal, La Salle, Boston College, Western Kentucky, Arizona St, St Louis, Dayton, Oregon St, Bradley, San Francisco, Seton Hall, Butler, South Carolina, Texas A&M, New Mexico, DePaul, Temple, Wichita St, Clemson, BYU, Washington, Providence, Oregon, Mississippi State, Florida State, Stanford, and Xavier.

Auburn is possibly just 2 weeks away from tying Vanderbilt and USC at #49 all time… that would move us to 9th most in the SEC and on pace to pass LSU within about a year for 8th in the SEC.

Auburn’s run these past 8 seasons has been absolutely amazing.
