We beat them by a total of 44-10 in this series and 49-12 on the season including the Capitol City Classic

Damn straight.

And Florida’s about to get a taste of our high power offense.

I only hope this remains true, but I'm willing to bet UF's pitching is a frick-ton better than Bama's.

I just hope we can steal a game from them.

Florida has probably the best bullpen in the country. Taking one from then would be awesome IMO.

A 6-6 finish down the stretch is what we need.

Given our SOS 5-7 is what we need to lock up an NCAA Tourney spot. Given our RPI & SOS 4-8 would give us a real shot at getting in too.

4-8 guarantees us a spot. 6-6 and we're in hosting discussion.

4-8 doiesn't guarantee us as spot IMO. It would put us at 13-17 in the conference. Since the tourney has expanded to 48 & 64 teams it's about 50-50 on whether 13 win conference teams make it in or not.If we end up 13-17 & stay in the top 20 in the RPI then yes that would be a virtual guarantee. If we drop below 20 then the door would be open for us to not get in historically speaking.

Agree 6-6 will put us in hosting discussion. That projects our RPI to be 10th. I think we would still need 1 or 2 SEC Tourney wins to seal a host spot.

We would still have a top 20 rpi at 13-17 in conference.

I think 7 additional total conference wins (reg season and tourney) has us hosting.

Not necessarily. We have 3 nonconference games left that have to be factored as well. Lose 2 or all 3 of those plus 1 & done in the SEC Tourney & finishing in the top 20 in the RPI in that scenario seems iffy at best.

We have had a huge freshman movement during the winning streak, too. Playing pretty well at the right time.
