Bub gets a single and Bub gets him in. Jesus Carter is fast. Bub got greedy and tried to take second though. Looking to see if Bub is safe now.

Carter at leadoff looks like a good idea. Now if only we could figure out the problems at the heart of the order.

Guevara puts a charge into one but it’s a 390’ fly out. Fralick with a good AB but it ends in a groundout. Steele (sigh) Ks swinging.

Marciano at 66 pitches. Wonder how long Butch lets him go. K-State’s starter is almost assuredly done at 102 pitches.

unfortunately Bub Ks swinging. Guevara up one in scoring position one out. Bristol can fly so any production from Guevara or Fralick will be a run.
