Have kept Mikey Fowler, Samuel Dutton, and Pico Kohn in state and at AU. That’s 2 stud starter level pitchers in Dutton and Kohn. And a 93ish mph middle righty in Fowler. Plus there was a lefty and a righty up in the northern part of the state that were studs as well.
Someone that can recruit in the summer just need to camp out in North Cobb at the PG tournaments there and start talking to freshmen and sophomores that have skill and look like they have the frame to play. Bet you could offer 2-3 visits “unofficial” at every tournament.

Also want to add that’s no defense of Huddy. However when momma called he came and I’m not sure Butch should dump him but I know nothing about Hudson’s recruiting abilities. And we all know that’s the name of the game. Might be better to go get a pitching coach that believes in Butch’s pitching philosophy and is a known recruiter.

But just based on the staff performance since Steve Smith went back to Tennessee Tech, we've not pitched nearly as well and have given up an absurd amount of walks. I still wish we'd do what Baird used to do and change arm slots and teach the two-seamer.

I'll take that W all day. LSU looked like they were about to come rolling and take it away. Who is starting today? Would really love to take this series and give some confidence in this club with 2 SEC series wins in a row to start the season.
