No one said it was a smart pass.

I don’t think it was tipped. I think it hit Hooks shoulder. You getting the screen grabs grab the tip. Not a ball just in air

beatbammer, I sent you the link, look at where rivaldos hands go in the video and you will see. Does it make sense for WRs to just not put their hands up at all and just let the ball hit the shoulder? It doesnt. If it hit the shoulder i doubt it takes that trajectory before the INT as well.

ANSWER to earlier in-thread question:

Auburn’s Jaylin Simpson got his third interception of the season. He’s the first Auburn player with picks in three consecutive games since Jerraud Powers in 2007.

And why would it hit the shoulder? I sent you the video. Which receivers try to catch with their shoulder?

This is a clear deflecton and anybody to suggest that our receiver tried to catch rhe ball with our shoulder needs to stop messing with the edibles.

Yes, dude. Because why would you try throw in a tight window right there. I showed you the video. He was throwing across the body right there into traffic while in a goal to go situation. Is 3 points not better than 0 after a 15 play drive?
He threading the needles is one of those stupid reasons why he has over 30 turnovers in his career.

Beautiful throw by Ashford. He beat A&M. We will see if Thorne can....
Can’t be stated enough. Ashford took care of aTm. Can Throne? If not, Ashford will have to save the day again.

He is embarrassing himself right now. Let him.
Same dude said our punt returner was being greedy for trying to catch the punt and run.
And he was happy about not having a punt returner on defense since he did not want to "risk it." But by God if Thorne throws into tight windows with white all around then our receivers are back to catching with their shoulder again.

Throne the turnover machine can do no wrong. Didn’t you get the memo?

Super impressed with Ron Roberts thus far having never heard of him before. We got 13 turnovers in the whole season last year and are already at 5 INTs and 2 fumbles collected in 3 games. Before it’s pointed out it’s against lesser competition, if we don’t get any against who we played this far, there was no chance in hell we would have gotten any in the next three. Hoping we go at least 1-2 in the next three games.

I read the caption on Youtube about Sanders saving the Seminoles versus Auburn and had to turn it off. I cant stand it when we lose got dammit

Just glad that Thorne aired it out 32 times, made plays with his legs and probably had the best game of his career… that after throwing 2 INTs? First QB to pass/run for over 200/100 since the goat Nick Marshall in 2013. Just take the positives and enjoy it for a week when we run into the meat grinder for the next three games. Hopefully we compete like hell and give them all they can handle and then some.

I believe reporters said that if Thorne would have passed for 13 more yards he would have been the first to throw for 300 and rush for 100 in a game at Auburn. Almost made history tonight

So he tried to catch the ball with his hands as has been drilled into his since he was a WR is Pee Wee, but didn't / wasn't able to, so it hit him in the shoulder pads, bounced off and was intercepted. Is that right? From this view, if he had caught it with his hands, it would have been a bullet threading a needle through tight coverage on the money. Touchdown. Right? Or am I missing something else. Honest question, but you guys keep at it. Maybe get a room and invite 25.
