Some people think Kentucky is a dark horse for QRob.

JUCO OT Brenden Coffey has Auburn at #1. He has 3 years to play 2. He’s 6’7 and 275.

His teammate, OG TJ Bass also visited and brought his family. It’s worth noting that Auburn is the furthest east he’s ever been. Sounds like he liked the visit but reading between the lines leads me to believe he wants to stay in the pacific NW.

#2 DT QB Haynes King is OV’ing in Auburn June 14. Very good sign for Auburn who seem to be up against Tennessee and A&M for this guy. This is his third visit to AU

Another Texas guy, 4* S Chris Thompson visited this weekend and has Auburn in his top group. He likes the staff and how we’ve developed DB’s the past few years. We’re recruiting him for the same FS position Daniel Thomas plays

4* RB Tank Bigsby said he liked everything about the Auburn visit. He spent a lot of time with Gus and Caddy. Likes how he fits in the offense and likes Auburn a lot. He won’t name a leader but he did say he wants to make a commitment before senior year.

Have to think that one of Bo or Gatewood showing out will deter Haynes King. He’d be perfect for Texas since Ehlinger is an upperclassman, too.

Let's get him and Webb. How many LBs are we taking this year? With Riley, Tisdol, and Groce all trending AU (at least from what I can gather) too.

Could probably add Wesley Steiner to that list if he doesn’t get into Stanford. Groce should’ve already committed if he wants a spot.

Hope to have Riley, Simpson, Steiner, and Tisdol

IMO, Groce is the most highly recruited of the bunch.

Wiltfong makes as many picks as anyone and he’s as accurate as anyone. Certainly a good sign

He already weighs 240 pounds as a linebacker and ran a 5.05 at the opening. So he’s not really all that quick. If he commits, great.

Rodney Groce, LB, Pleasant Grove (Ala.): Auburn has been his leader for awhile, but offers from Alabama and Oklahoma have added intrigue to this recruitment. Is he a priority to the Tigers? To the Tide? It's hard to know. If Auburn pushes, the Tigers certainly will have a chance.

So much for being one of our top linebackers on the board.

Jones, from what authority did you gather information of Groce being one of the top on the board? And fwiw...on KN’s latest CB projections on Auburn’s targets article, he wasn’t even listed at all.

Mark Murphy for 247 said AU has a shot for Bigsby but doesn’t think Auburn is a favorite. This more or less aligns with popular opinion but important to point out.

KN thinks Vols are on top right now. Depth chart is the leading reason and Auburn will have trouble landing King with either a true or RS Freshman starting this fall.

Demouy Kennedy commits to UAT

KN said a few days ago that Auburn might be getting back into the discussion. Today, KN said this guy has been all over the place. I’m not sure Auburn is a threat anymore to land Kennedy but I’m guessing this isn’t the last we hear of him

Let's just get Simpson, Q Rob, and Webb and tell him to pound sand.

A player that is actually up our recruiting board, Tate Johnson, announces at 11:15 today. Will be huge.

I can’t quite tell how confident KN is on Simpson. He seems confident in terms of what he’s posting but he hasn’t submitted a CB

Hard to get a read on Webb and QRob currently
