5* Dylan Brooks and a 5* safety James Williams will be in Auburn for the Mississippi State game.

James is a 6’5, 218 pound safety from Davie, Florida. This will be his second visit this year and third overall.

I know this is probably from Keith but it will be his 3rd visit this year. Funny how he forgets his own intel. He visited twice between late May-early June.

Very interesting strategy from Gus. When everyone else is prioritizing offense, he is locked in on D. Could honestly work. I think he found out QB recruiting is such a high risk activity, and you can quantify defense more. I like it.

Not sure Gus can get that much credit for that. He told & tells Steele & co how many spots they have on D in each class & they go to work. There are still more slots given to O than D in each class FWIW. The D staff has made it work on their end with overall good development & pretty good on lessening attrition on their side.

4* DT McKinnley Jackson set his Auburn OV for December 14th-16th. KN doesn’t know if he will visit before then. I’m guessing he visits during Bama or Georgia game if he does.

KN says Zachary Evans is no longer a lock to Georgia, and that Georgia is recruiting Tank again.

KN expects Auburn to hammer home that he was only a backup plan there.

More twists and turns can be expected in this recruitment.

Best case scenario: Georgia doesn’t get either Evans or Tank.

Well, the RB by committee thing hasn’t happened for Auburn this year. May be due to injuries, but I’m sure the negative recruiting master in Athens will find a way to spin it.

Thanks to Pickens last year; I don’t think we are safe with any recruit within Georgia’s crosshairs. It’s wait and see from my end.

Edit: I believe it was Collingsworth that called Georgia RBU last night on SNF. Thanks, a-hole.

We have actually played a few RB’s this year, just not exactly the ones I was hoping for. Glass half full/empty?
