4* RB Shaun Shivers
Shivers played out of position on Saturday. He dropped some passes, sure, but he’s not a natural wide receiver. The speedy Shivers remains a versatile player. And while he may see am ever-so-tiny slide downward, his standing as a four-star prospect with a bright future remains in tact.

Looks like Josh Newberg removed his CB pick of UF for Fields and put it as 'foggy'. He's the Noles247 writer.
Seems to think that his recruitment will carry over into the season. We need to come out of the gates hot with Stidham.
I think for AU it will be a good thing if recruitment goes into the season. I know "insiders" seem to think he is some sort of lock to AU but there is a ton of FSU chatter right now. I think if it goes on into the season, Stidham is the hero were are promised and AU wins 10+ games we snag him

Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge Stock Report: Offensive line (Rivals)
quote:
INDIANAPOLIS – More than 100 of the top players in the nation participated June 10 in the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge presented by adidas at the Indianapolis Colts practice facility. The Rivals analyst team is breaking down the status of each player at the marquee event based on their performance against elite competition. Today, we review the offensive linemen.

4* OG Trey Hill
Hill had a pretty dominating performance over the weekend. He has re-shaped his body, he showed his balanced strength and at times he was simply tough to move. He is light on his feet, he loves to finish blocks and his name is going to come up in the five-star discussion before long.
The dream 2018 class is Trey Hill, Justin Fields, Kearis Jackson & Justyn Ross. Oh the fapping...

4* OG Clay Webb
Webb wasn’t able to finish in the afternoon, but he did enough in the morning session before the shoulder injury to help his stock. He is so strong, he plays with such violence and he stoned some of the top defensive linemen in the country. He is an interior guy on the next level, but he is one of the top prospects in the 2019 class.

4* OT John Campbell
Campbell was as hot-and-cold and any prospect at the event, which has become his calling card over the last year. He’s never awful, but he’s rarely truly great. You get the feeling he’s due to break out sometime in the near future, though, even if he hasn’t yet. There is so much to like about his upside, which he may well realize in the year ahead.
Think he plans to commit soon & it will probably be Miami

the top 3 OL in next year's class (Pierce Quick, Clay Webb & Amari Kight)

4* Marcus Jenkins
Jenkins has worked hard to get in better shape and it showed with better feet and agility in this setting. He has played a lot of tackle, but he is an interior guy on the next level. He could excel there once he settles in and learns the guard position.
Really hoping we don't pass on Tank

That's based off my own amateur scouting

4* OT Christian Armstrong
Armstrong is a big body on the offensive line who passes the eye test and he has good strength and power, but he needs to improve his footwork and his quickness. He could still get a look at right tackle, but a move to the inside could be in store. He struggled with his movement against the big and quick defensive linemen.
We are trending up for him but as I keep saying I am not that high on this kid. He seems to get exposed at all these events. The hope would be with Tega/Sammons/Ashley hopefully locking down OT for the next 2-3 years he would have time to improve

quote:
4* OG Keiondre Jones
Jones is another prospect who plays offensive tackle who is headed for an interior position on the next level. He has to show better quickness, the ability to reset and improve his hand placement. He has great strength and his body is solid.

Does that mean we need bama to beat FSU?

Nah I think it's more what AU does than anything with FSU

But that's true if Fields commits early too. If Stidham gets hurt and season bottoms out then Gus is probably gone anyway
I just don't think Fields is as a lock to AU as some AU "insiders" seem to think right now. If I had to take a bold guess I think rankings would be: 1.) FSU 2.) UGA 3.) AU 4.) UF
But like I said, I don't really know just how things look to me right now

He's not a great tackle but I like him a lot as an interior player. Stutts/Irvin/Jenkins is a solid interior group for AU's system. Again in my amateur scout opinion
Now if we can somehow steal Trey Hill away then I don't care where Jenkins goes

quote:Yup. We need a lot of wins to improve Gus's security and Stidham, Craig, Davis & company need to live up to their potential & put up some big passing numbers. A 3 TD pass game for JS early in the season against Clemson would be huge IMO.
Nah I think it's more what AU does than anything with FSU

4* TE John FitzPatrick
This one was close to being in the Stock Up group, but he is the No. 1 tight end in Georgia and a top-200 prospect. He played right to that ranking. He was a go-to guy and he did have one drop, but his hands were a strength much of the time. He has real potential.
