I get that. I still think he could have been straight up fired and the girl still be protected. It's not like doing it the way we have has somehow removed all suspicion of impropriety...

It hasn't removed suspicion you're right. But the important part is the confirmation of suspicion which hasn't happened

I think we can all agree this is the most Auburn situation though. Championship winning coach has a successor lined up and is building a powerhouse and then all this shite happens. It's amazing how we do it sometimes

I guess this is what happens when you have a roster full of hot softball players and male coaches? Haven't seen a softball team this year that has as hot of a team as we do.

Why can't some realize it is possible to know something was wrong but not be able to prove it...you use the leverage of knowledge to move forward but it doesn't mean something was covered up. You can't throw that mud unless you can back it up. Generally one of the two offending parties must talk to substantiate.
