You and Lanier are the cool old guys. Like the ones that buy kids beer and help them pick up chicks.

Bullpen has to give up one run at least as custom but Tigers win 8-1!

Clint can't say the off field drama isn't affecting team. Veach just dropped a ball and Missouri up 2-0. Team looks shaken the past 2 games

Carlson's arm is going to fall off in the postseason. Martin keeps on regressing.

I shudder to think what this team would be like without Wallace.

Good bounce back win for girls. Still worried about them moving forward. Have not looked good in last 3 games

Auburn softball takes the series against Missouri. Didn't look great doing it for much of the weekend, but great resilience.

Phillip Marshall is deleting any threads/posts on Cory Myers and threatening bans on 247. Crazy how in the pocket for AU admin he is

I don't understand why people want to continue to discuss it.

It's best just to move on

Dude is way too soft for the internet, really needs to retire

He's actually a great writer but man if he likes a coach he will not allow anything negative against them. Dude loves him some Clint Myers and is bending over backwards to protect him

I mean you would think journalists would want to find out wtf is wrong with an organization that has a coach "allegedly" sleeping with a player. And that coach just so happens to be son of head coach. But nah we don't wanna know about that, I am sure everything else is on the up & up

Only reason I pay subscription for that site is Keith's recruiting info. I know info eventually gets out (I help with that now ) but figured I would support where that info comes from but man the rest of the staff makes it hard to keep doing that

I mean it's a pretty big deal what happened. I don't like idea of just sweeping it under the rug. Would have preferred university announce they were firing Cory Myers for unethical behavior instead of this "time with family" nonsense and Clint talking about he would love to have em back. Don't need to drag the girl into all of it but at least recognize a pretty serious break in ethics happened and that shite shouldn't fly

Just my opinion though. Impressed with how girls have rallied and kept winning through all of this. Cheering hard for them to finish season strong

Maybe part of the reason they have "swept it under the rug" is to do whatever they can to not embarrass the girl.

You know... the one who was an athlete under the direction of the coach paid by Auburn University?

Some of y'all seem to be under the illusion that Title IX jurisprudence in this day and age is the definition of fair and impartial.

(P.S. Hint: Clue: It ain't.)

Then Clint needs the STFU about hoping he can come back on board one day. I 100% understand protecting the girl. But that doesn't mean we couldn't have just flat out said coach was fired instead of this "family" bullshite. You can be up front and honest without embarrassing the girl.

Also not the job of supposed journalists to do university's bidding which was my original point. Those guys are working hard to cover Clint Myer's arse

Bottom line is it's a shitty situation all around and I just think it could have been handled better. You obviously disagree and I get that. Hopefully girls don't let it affect them too much and can accomplish some big things this year. They have my full support

In order to protect the girl and the program it's best to not substantiate anything. I don't agree to shining light where it doesn't HAVE to be shed
