Latest mock drafts have Sorber moving up in drafts. Originally he was there at the 22 and now he is between 13 and 15 on a lot of them. Richardson and Demin are moving up as well. Along with a lot of teams trying to trade up to get Harper and offering multiple first rounders this year. Washington has been trying to trade with the Spurs. The Spurs should take it in my opinion. Castle is a beast and word is they may look to trade him and take Harper. It is looking increasingly harder to pair two from that group I posted earlier. I see Atlanta taking either Sorber or Asa at 13 but all of the PG/SG i listed will probably be gone at 22. IMHO Richardson is special and I hoped he would fly under the radar.

Well they got him. Don’t wanna hear shite on sports talk from uga fans for at least 10 years about falcons and hawks not taking local/uga kids now.

Yea, they had a very successful draft. Traded down, picked up an unsecured #1 for next year and still got Asa at 23.

I think the Falcons finally have put some pieces together on defense. If Jalon Walker is the star, that’s icing on the cake IMO.
Now, the Hawks picking Asa is also awesome but I have less faith in that team/front office.

Jalon Walker and Asa Newell aren’t sacrifices to be made, they’re both great picks that make a lot of sense for both sides and will only build the fanbases.
