Or for Maason Smith straight up. I like this move. The Falcons need a run stuffer and Maason is more suited for that. Which also could mean they are trying to go after Branch with their first pick, which they really need.

Top needs now are WR2, RT, Mike LB, NT, EDGE. Any BPA of these positions at 48 who can contribute immediately.

Yeah but I read they still like Hughes as CB2. If there’s a CB, it is probably a depth guy. IMO.

I would hold off on Lb after all the free agency signings at Lb. They signed Azeez Ojulari, Christian Harris and Channing Tindal and still have Walker.

Walker and Ojulari are not off-ball LBs in Ulrich scheme. Deablo, Harris, Tindall, Andersen, and the special teams guy from Notre Dame are the LBs. They definitely could use a starting/contributing caliber Mike LB.

What? That must be news to him because in is 3-4 he has both of them listed as outside linebackers. The scouting reports say they will both likely be used as stand up pass rushers. They have Harris at the will and Tindall inside.
