Always been. This is just what they do.
In my lifetime, I've seen the Hawks be dogshit, draft Shelden Williams and Marvin Williams, and trade Luka Doncic. The Flames and Thrashers *both* moved due to horrific ownership. The Falcons have been a joke, and then in 2016 really became a national punchline. The Braves? Eh, as soon as the Dodgers won game 3, I seriously considered putting 1k on LA.
Atlanta sports is cursed as hell.
