I remember when he managed the Mets single a affiliate here in columbia back when they were the capital city bombers. Always had a frick it attitude haha.

Ender was 1 for 2 with a rbi when he had to get taken out and replaced by Santana when he got hit by a pitch.

I'm going to say this now instead of after the fact...if they take Folty out out of the game after this seventh inning then I will be extremely pissed. This game is a good example of when Snitker needs to let his starter go as long as possible, within reason.

Snit made the right call on leaving Folty in. That's all on Folty

Dansby dropping the grounder hurt and should've been an error.

Yeah, obviously. My initial post was made in regards to whether he should pitch the 8th or not.

Braves win 9 to 5, Folty had a bad era night but got the win. He has Ozzie and friends to thank I guess.

Gohara was sent back to AAA...again. It looks like they want to give him a start before the All Star break and he'll probably come back up after that and get re-inserted into the rotation.

Ozzie should definitely be in the running for MVP along with Freddie now. .288/73 runs/113 hits/20 hr/54 RBI.

From a Twins sports reporter:

quote:

Darren Wolfson @DWolfsonKSTP · Jul 9 Mariners, Braves, Diamondbacks, Phillies among teams with scouts at Target Field for #MNTwins-#Royals. As oftentimes, hard to pinpoint normal scouting duties vs. trade specific work. Certainly a number of players on both sides are available.
