Folty gave up a walk in the 8th, then almost had a double play but the 2nd guy was barely safe... then Folty got that pick off you mentioned. Man I hope he gets the complete game shutout, I know Winkler's good but hope they don't use him.

That was a masterpiece from Folty. Two great games in a row against two really good lineups

Glad I caught the replay. I saw it tied 0-0 in the 7th. Got home and was elated to see Swanson golf that bitch out of the park. Folty going CG was a big bonus.

McCarthy swatted the gnats 3 up 3 down in the 1st with a couple strikeouts.

Then in the 2nd it went a little more downhill from there and McCarthy gave up a single followed by a homer, 2 nothing gnats.

Still 2 nothing in the 5th and the Braves just got their first hit, thanks Nick. Then Flowers got a hit, and Johan blasted a 3 run homer. Who needs a 7th inning comeback? The Braves are winning 3 to 2!

The Braves took out McCarthy in the 7th, he had pitched well since the 2nd when he gave up the 2 runs. Then Freeman the pitcher relieved him and gave up a home run to the first batter he faced. Tie game.

Carle pitched great in the 8th, 3 up 3 down. He struck out the last batter of the inning looking and Harper couldn't believe it.

In the top of the 9th, Minter didn't allow any runs, then in the bottom of the 9th with the score tied... Freddie and Nick grounded out. And we're headed for extra innings.

Still playing in the 13th... Biddle is swatting gnats all over the place strikeout after strikeout for 3 scoreless innings. Too bad the gnatty relievers aren't giving anything up either. Here's to changing the last one.
