They said Fried was the 26th roster spot. I was just wondering if they would pick up an OF for Acuna's 10 days of DL. (Hope it's just 10) I wish they needed an infielder instead and would bring up Riley... but since it's an OF if they take one it might be someone like Bourjos, Santana or Peterson.

Fried let 2 guys on base in the 5th inning, and picked them both off! Conforto and bautista. If that's it for him, he pitched 5 innings with 1 ER and 6 k's.

The Braves sent Biddle out to pitch in the 6th down 2 nothing.

A rainless rain delay happened in the bottom of the 6th. Joe said it's a good thing though to cool down deGrom. After 30 minutes of that, deGrom got the braves 3 up 3 down again.

Braves finally got to deGrom in the bottom of the 7th. Flowers hit a solo homer. 2 to 1 Mets. Let's get some more runs!

Sam Freeman came out to pitch for ATL in the 8th... man that guy makes me nervous... but he struck out the side! Hope the Braves can get something off the 2 innings of the maligned Mets bullpen so much.

Ozzie ran hard to beat out a throw for a bunt single in the bottom of the 8th. Made me remember Acuna's injury yesterday seeing him run so fast to first. But he's ok, now Freddie got a single and Ozzie went to 3rd with no outs. Way to go Markakis, sac fly! Then they struck out Flowers and Tucker (0 for 3).

Mets catcher hit a home run in the 9th inning to take the lead back 3 to 2. They said that was the 3rd relief appearance in a row that Carle gave up a run. In the bottom of the 9th, the Braves have to get something going with Camargo, Swanson (0 for 3) and Culberson.

Camargo got walked by Lugo in the bottom of the 9th. Swanson got out for the 4th time today. Culberson, representing the winning run, is at the plate. Come on!

Culberson 2 run homer! Braves win in a walkoff 4 to 3! That was awesome when Albies and Camargo dumped the blue gatorade on him.

Having so much fun watching the Braves on a holiday and they have one more game in an hour and a half. McCarthy pitching vs Conlon, hope the Braves crush him.

McCarthy said he was well rested or something, but gave up 2 runs in the first inning. Hope he can hold them there like Fried did in his game.
