Wisler has pitched 4 shutout innings so far... bad news is that the fishy pitcher Straley is right there with him.

Here we go ... bottom of the 4th. Fishy pitcher walks Freddie, Nick hits a double, two on in scoring position for Flowers with no outs. Then the Braves stranded them all.

Marlins took the lead in the 6th from a Realmuto triple after a prado single. 2 nothing then they finally took out wisler.

Dansby Swanson was activated from the DL and can play tonight if they put him in. I thought they would drop one of the sub .200 hitting infielders to make room, but they dropped last night's starting pitcher Wisler instead. Now the Braves have: Swanson, Flaherty, Bautista, Camargo, Culberson and Bautista all playable on the left side of the infield. Anyway, not sure why he couldn't pitch last night, but good luck tonight Sean Newk!

Newk's scoreless innings are over, Miami up by 1 in the 2nd inning. Hope the Braves come back.

The Braves got to Urena finally in the 5th with multiple hits. Camargo got an RBI and tied the game. Then Swanson got a bunt RBI to get a 2 to 1 lead. Then Albies got an rbi single too, to make the lead 4 to 1.

Kurt bombed one in the 7th... 5 to 1 Braves! Then Ender got a hit, and Camargo followed that up with a shot off the wall, 6 to 1 Braves!

Braves won 8 to 1. Nice W for Newk, and relief pitching by Carle, Winkler and even Biddle. Suzuki and Freeman went deep so you know they had a nice game.

Braves' alumni day. Wish I could go to that one! I'm not going to one this season til Jun 15 cause my brother wants one of those Freddie bobbleheads but at least those lucky fans got to meet Eddie Perez and Rafael Furcal!
