I live where those blue wahoos that Chip was talking about play... but I can't remember ever seeing that Peralta pitcher. The only times I've gone to see them were when they were playing the Mississippi Braves and I didn't exactly pull for the home team.

Way to go Markakis! Barring any more bullpen misery only 3 more runs to go!

Maybe they'll get back on the winning side tomorrow when McCarthy is pitching against Mahle.

I like Folty and think he has enormous potential, but he'll never be what we are looking for until he can get his pitch count under control

Even if he has a reasonable pitch count, history says he gets pounded the 3rd time through the order.

He's a guy that badly needs another pitching coach. There is things there that can work, but he really needs to change his approach to hitters.

Agreed. When I watch him pitch, he looks like he's trying to strike everyone out

Max Fried has been recalled, but it looks like it'll just be for a few days and then he'll go back to Gwinnett so he can continue to get starts.

I had to go out of town but glad Freddie hit 2 homers and Kurt hit one too, keep it up guys and the pitching might improve and your offense will get it done without having to go to extra innings. Glad it's still on though so I can watch it now.

They lost in the 12th on that Scooter homer that Fried served up. Hoping Wisler can get the win tomorrow.

They have him hitting 6th after Markakis and Camargo (Kurt has the day off) Maybe someday they can put Acuna before or after Freeman and make the pitchers sweat it out.

Maybe I should change the thread to braves season long thread.

ETA: went ahead and changed it to a season long in-game thread since most keep posting in here. If anyone objects or wants to start a weekly game thread feel free.

Been looking forward to Braves live today, and they're all noticeably excited.

They showed Chipper and Andruw hit singles in their first at bat, but I hope Acuña is more like Francoeur in his.

It feels like 90s Braves on deck. Albies, Acuna, Swanson Freddie. Tons of young talent but we have to get our pitching better, especially the bullpen
