I need to vent some more on that double switch.
There's probably no way Viz goes multiple innings. Leave Swanson in the game, and pinch hit for Viz in the next inning.
Instead, you move the pitcher further up in the order, removing your hottest hitter for the night, and now have some scrub RP hitting after your 3456 guys bc the double switch used your last bench player. Sure enough, Carle had to hit costing us a legit chance to manufacture a run.

I can understand using your bullpen like this in the playoffs. See Cleveland 2 years ago. But in the first series of the MFing season?

It's strange not having a game on Sunday. Regardless, I have enjoyed watching this team so far. I'm mildly concerned about the back end of the pen, but otherwise I think that most aspects of the team have been good so far.

Well we hit 88 wins 7 games quicker than I thought.
