Well now.....

Nope, but thanks for the offer.

Dude, you have went in circles... From "anyone wanting MA fired is an idiot," To... "If Chaney is gone, im with ya"

At what point are we simply delaying the inevitable? and couldn't we have already convened a panel, board, search to find the right guy rather than waiting?

Yep, I have some fun crap posting just like you. Usually piggybacking on your crap posts. But this one truly is asking... Why truly wait?

If no Gafford, or replacement for him? and our only recruit thus far is one we have had for 2 years. MA is absolutely scrambling to find talent.

where is Moody in all of this as far as recruiting as well?

I wish he would prove those of us, ready for a change, wrong... But. Its been 8 years.

I really don't try to lecture people on the game. I just pass on some of my knowledge of the game for those that may not have played at a high level.

Gabe Osabouein sealed the game the other night with a steal in the final seconds of the game. Don't see how anyone could argue that he didn't come up huge in that game.

Gabe doesn't have much of an offensive game, but he is our best defender on the court hands down.

Although, I will say that Chaney is pretty good too and he's getting better and better. Plus Chaney has quite a lot of offensive potential too. Which is why I think if Chaney stays, he will become a big time player for us next season.

You don't frickin worry about what I say, Rev. There is a reason for everything I post here. It's strategy.

SEC Tournament Vs. Alabama if I remember correctly. 94 or 95? Hell, it's been a long time.

The point is, that team had a few guards that were like pitbulls out there on the court. Didn't take shite from nobody. I coulda sworn that was Crawford. It was pretty funny. Dude kicked so hard his own shoe flew into the stands.

ETA: Honestly you guys, that's the biggest difference I can see between an Anderson and a Richardson team. Nolan carried himself with an edge. A chip on his shoulder. The team followed suit and they were always willing to turn a game into a street fight if they had to in order to win. They refused to back down at all, ever.

If Mike could develop that edge about him the team would follow his lead.

Other than that the systems are nearly identical.

Nolan ran his full court press a little different where he would always throw hard traps at the person who took the inbounds pass. Mike's press is more like token pressure. Still forces turnovers, but not at the same rate Nolan's teams did.

You know, another thing Richardson would do is he would literally "ride or die" on his press strategy.

I can't remember the team or the game, but at one point his team was playing as an underdog (which was rare) and in order to get the other team out and running he would actually give them free layups.

The reasoning he had was that young players especially really enjoy getting out and running. So he let this team build like a 20 point lead knowing that he had more depth on his bench and he would win the game in the end. Which he did.

It's in this manner that this Razorback "40 minutes" of whatever the hell you want to call it, can play above their heads with less talent. People who don't think there's strategy involved in all of this just don't know what they're watching.

Richardson and Anderson are like the basketball equivalent of Gus Malzahn. Malzahn wants to snap the ball 100 times per game knowing that if the other team only snaps it 50 times, he is gonna win on averages.

Biggest stat for a Mike Anderson coached team is field goals attempted. Because that's what he wants. It's why Gabe Osabouein attempts 3s he will never make. Everyone has a green light to shoot.

I love it. It's fun playing ball like that.

ETA: At one point in that Kentucky game late in the first half, Kentucky had only managed to get 12 looks at the basket. That's a staggering stat. And that's also how you know that 16 point lead wasn't a reflection on Kentucky playing poorly. Instead, Arkansas was kicking their arse on defense.

I believe that is the same game that Crawford broke his ankle.

I have not read every post. This thread is just a shite fest.

The fact that mike is causing this much division within our fan base is very HDN like. It should be enough to let everyone know he probably needs to be fired. Just so our own in fighting will stop, and we can hit the reset button.

He did have a 20 point game once this year.

He is still one of the best players on this team. He plays defense like a madman. We need more players like that (except preferably guys that can also score the rock).

I guess before that Ole Miss game the 94 team spoke with this current roster and that was their entire message to this team. Just don't ever let anyone outwork you. Nobody outworks Gabe.
