wouldn't be the first time they were wrong...
I'm cool with the hire if it turns out to be Smith. of course whoever it is, I'll wait to see results on the field before I judge to hard. but as of now bert get's the benefit of the doubt based on his record of hiring solid assistants

I realize that but usually it's because they want to be first to break a big story. This isn't exactly a big story. It's not worth the risk to go out on a limb to announce Arkansas' DC

If this chode was the guy, and he's bringing an attacking defense, then maybe we could have sold that to some recruits and hyped his NFL experience and how good his Rutgers D kinda was.
