Met his family this weekend. THis dude man, this dude is one of the reasons I was drawn to razorback football to begin with.
Began as a walk on, received a scholly on Dec 5th, and played very well in the Liberty Bowl...
When speaking of the NIL program, he simply wants to play at Arkansas and win something for the state. Great family, great kid.
2024 (REDSHIRT SENIOR) Earned first career start during a 39-26 win over Texas Tech in the Liberty Bowl (Dec. 27) … Helped pave way for 559 total yards of offense during a 39-26 Liberty Bowl win over Texas Tech (Dec. 27) … Played on special teams during a loss at Missouri (Nov. 30) … Saw action in a win over Louisiana Tech (Nov. 23) … Played on special teams in a loss to Texas (Nov. 16) … Saw action on special teams vs. Ole Miss (Nov. 2) … Appeared in a win at Mississippi State (Oct. 26) … Played on special teams against LSU (Oct. 19) … Saw action in a win over No. 4 Tennessee (Oct. 5) … Played on special teams vs. Texas A&M (Sept. 28) … Played in a win at Auburn (Sept. 21) … Saw action at Oklahoma State (Sept. 7) and in season-opening win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Aug. 29).
2023 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN): Earned playing time in 11 games during his second season, seeing the field in the team’s final 11 games … Primarily used on special teams as part of field goal/extra point protection … Saw action on the offensive line in victory vs. Florida International (Nov. 23)
2022 (FRESHMAN): Redshirted in his first season as a Razorback.
HIGH SCHOOL: Helped pave the way for a potent Bryant offense that led the Hornets to 42 straight wins and four straight Class 7A state titles … Originally committed to Princeton before accepting preferred walk-on offer with Arkansas … Blocked for Bryant QB Austin Ledbetter, who pitched for the Razorbacks before joining the football team as a quarterback in the spring of 2024.

Another Arkansas lifer that should be given praise is Maddox "Maddog" Lassiter from Warren.

Brooks is an outstanding young man who represents Bryant and Arkansas so well. Great to see a Hornet helping us to a Bowl victory!
