Hey a-hole, what I said is that he meddles in the defensive gameplanning too much. I was trying to explain to you what other posters seemed to be implying when they talk about offensive playcalling. I actually think he tends to leave the offensive stuff alone.
You can disagree all you want, and I don't really give a shite. But I do have an issue with you calling people stupid who don't agree with you.
Go frick yourself.
It's clear that you have a hard on for Bret. Either that or you're just another typical internet a-hole. Dime a dozen around here apparently.

Also, two more points.
1. We aren't running a HUNH.
2. Running a HUNH certainly DOES dictate play calling as it keeps personnel packages locked on the field, which limits the offensive play calls.

We aren't. I was just explaining to you that you are incorrect when you say it doesn't dictate play calling.
You seem to have a lot of trouble following multiple trains of thought. Are you daft?

You realize a team can run their offense at a quicker pace and still sub right?

You realize there's a reason why Gus only ever seems to run about 5 plays total there at Auburn right?
It's because he is trying to limit substitutions in an effort to catch the defense with improper personnel packages on the field, giving him a competitive advantage. It reduces the number of plays you can call, but gives him a schematic advantage.
If you don't think tempo dictates play calls I don't know what to tell ya.
But then again, you're lobbying for the worst coach in our history to remain in place. So this entire discussion is pointless. It's like explaining 2+2 to a three year old.

Actually, once you sub, you are running at the pace that the defense dictates by their own subs.

For one play, yeah.
