I’m in a blind watching it rain like hell in south Arkansas. It was pretty nice the first hour, now I’m just hoping it slacks up enough that I don’t get soaked walking out.

Thanks! It’s not too bad right now, 64 degrees. I started to wait until next week, but I couldn’t bring myself to skip opening day. I’m ready for some crisp fall air for sure

I go back south to hunt every year. Just modern gun here so I’ll be waiting until the first of November. Hopefully lots cooler temps by then.

Had a low 120s 8pt come out at 30 yards but was wet enough I held off. Decided I didn't want to clean one enough to shoot him.
