Sounds like it happened after the mizzou game, not during.

i hope so and i hope bert wasn't for playing ba. if he was i hope to never actually know for sure b/c i would be disappointed in him and right now i'm all about me some bert.

what I heard..
JC left BA in and CBB wanted to get him out of the game thinking about using Derby with the running game, options etc. There was disagreement and CBB and Chaney had words over not letting Chaney run HIS offense. CBB had been fairly hands off to a point, but Chaney took offense.
This is from a past player who I was around a few weeks following.
Is it true? IDK, but found it interesting with the happenings following.

ba played like shite during the mizzou game and we could've possibly won with another qb in so i'd say bielema was right and chaney's decision making probably cost us another game there

thinking of BA statying in the entire game still bugs the hell out of it
Posted on 1/15/15 at 5:34 pm to Razorback Reverend
Why would Bielema want Derby to replace Brandon if Derby was also hurt though?
I dont see what they didn't like about the way Austin played against Ole Miss I guess

My whole family was yelling at the TV. WHY IS BRANDON STILL IN THE GAME?! I knew we were going to loose after he stalled a couple of drives by missing wide open receivers. Chaney's offense is trash and didn't work in the SEC and I'm glad the Bielema/Chaney experiment is over

yeah Derby didn't play at all so I'm not sure how he'd be the one they put in

He bounced back nicely vs the tsips

Yeah, I think his only problem in the Missouri game was that he was hurt.

If Bert left Brandon in then he's the biggest fraud in Arkansas and also the best actor. Any time he talks about player safety I fully believe him.
I find it much more likely Bert trusted Chaney's judgement in leaving BA in the game since BA would've been communicating with Chaney during the game and Chaney is the QB coach. Bert then got upset at Chaney after the game after he found out more of what was going on with BA during.

after a lot of rest and recovery time.
it was obvious during the mizzou game that brandon was hurt. the commenters even brought it up multiple times throughout the game

all I know is what was told to me...
I set by some of the past players at the Texas Bowl... and perhaps it wasn't Derby, I thought it was... Duwop? Either way CBB wanted BA out and Chaney wanted to run his O.
I really don't care either way, just hope we get a great OC sooner than later.. WPS!

I don't claim to have any real insider status or crap like that.
Just with what I do, I have a few contacts through the ministry and also the bowl reps I work with that helps me get really great seats, suites, etc.
The Texas bowl was amazing for my bunch, our seats, getting to meet some old players, coaches, field access, etc. I had an absolute blast.
