Being from NE Arkansas, I didn't know the UofA existed until I was in my teens. I didn't have the ability or the means to attend there. I was older when I finally could afford a degree and chose a private university in another state. I have three degrees (which as for fandom doesn't mean a damn thing) from there. I am a Hog fan through and through. I also give to the University, donate, purchase tickets, attend club meetings, and volunteer quite a bit as well. If you purchase Razorback gear, sit on the edge of the seat either at the game, or at home watching our beloved hogs. You are a fan. When we classify one group over another, we are divided. My friend, I hope you were responding in a bit of anger rather than putting down other fans who are "Not a real fan like you". Because if you mean it the way I took it. Then go ahead and be a douchebag if you wish!

There's a good reason why Broyles went after "t-shirt fans" and Arkansas wouldn't be as good today if he hadn't. Plus, I know a number of UAF graduates who support other schools athletically, so it seems a little silly to limit fandom only to alumni.
