That 2006 line had one of the best backfields in SEC history running behind it.

True, but those RBs had a national award winning center blocking for them, from in state.

The 2010 line was okay, and helped pave the way for Knile's 1000 yard year and mostly kept Mallett upright.

We would both kill for that line this year.

The 2011 was complete arse. Tyler Wilson probably mails each of them a bag of dogshite regularly.

Good enough to win 11 games though and have a solid rushing attack.

Also, I always thought our lines were at a disadvantage under Petrino because he always flip flopped strong side and weak side. Never liked that.

My point was just...Arkansas produces OL...on all of our most recent really good teams, the core has come from in state. I hated Nutt with a passion, but he always went to the corners of the state to find OL, like Mitch Petrus from Carlisle. Or Nate Garner, etc. OL is easier to me, because you can stock pile them. Beef them up, strengthen them up, then insert them their RS-SO or JR years. Dumplin' hasn't ever really gotten good depth at the position, nor have they gotten much stronger IMO.

This is where I get to do my #bodybyHerb rant and remind everyone that Herbert is a profoundly terrible S&C coach.

We're the worst combination of big, weak, soft and slow. In his time here, we've been pushed around and/or straight up manhandled by the likes of Samford, Toledo, Texas Tech, and Louisiana Tech. We've set a new precedent for second half collapses and the inability to finish games. We're neither physically tough nor mentally tough. We inexplicably added crazy amounts of weight to players who didn't need it (*cough* Alex Collins). It took him four years to realize that speed and stamina mattered in the SEC. Our players literally cannot stop breaking their feet.

Say what you want about Bert's assistant hires (I certainly have), but Herb may very well be one of the worst. But hey, those squat videos tho.
