The crazy thing is we don’t really tailgate anymore now that we’ve had kids and C and E got divorced. I just roll in to town and go to the games with my brother or C who are both sober now and then drive home after since the wife stays home with the kids still.

It makes no sense why I still keep giving them my money without even drinking heavily to numb the pain.

Beard is on the defensive end

Beards defense is nothing special X's and Os wise and the defense is Mark Adams anyway.

The whole strategy is to keep the ball on the perimeter and not allow penetration into the middle middle, a good jump shot team would thrive against it but there are a few good jump shot players let alone a team. Beard doesn't a good job of keeping his team focused and disciplined in this.

We saw the same thing here with Muss and focusing on not allowing the three. She. His players worked towards that they were one of the better three points defensive teams in the country but there were other weaknesses to this strategy.

Honestly if this roster made it an effort to get to the free throw line and made the free throws when they were there this season would be having a completey different conversation and outlook.

Basically Muss could out coach Cal with this roster, but Muss would have never been able to recruit this roster like Cal did.
