We don't have the history of Bama.
Bama also isn't forced to play in Birmingham.
Let's also compare the talent in proximity to Bama.
I hear fans complain about us never winning an SEC championship in football and how we should compete with Bama then turned around and demand we play in a high school stadium off campus.
Fans who demand we recruit with the elite but do nothing to help the horrible in state talent which Arkansas' produces. Instead of buying video games and trips to Disney get them a weight set and buy them trips to summer sports camps.
Either you want us to be elite and you support us toward that effort or you are happy with us playing down to the mediocre level of the rest of our state.

You are giving us fans, way too much credit. I will give some instances.
For a state our size, we give, and we give well towards the foundation, facilities, training, coaches, everything is where it needs to be to not only compete, but win. I have toured the facilities here and several other places. Not many beat us, recruits are absolutely surprised at that.
Coaches... We have hire well known coaches, who supposedly have what it takes, on paper, to get the job done. As for LR, I don't give a rats read end if we every play another game at WMS. But, what Long did was alienate many fans with his arrogance and pride.
SO, tell me again, list what we are supposed to be doing as fans... TO win championships? Should we be giving thousand dollar handshakes? What is the plan bro?
I donate, buy tickets, go to events, raise funds for the club, voice my opinion, ... educate us please...

Hilltop, it is humanity period bro. that's what I am trying to tell ya.
When games are taken away from someone, they have become comfortable where they were and now, as in Jeff Long's case, his lack of public relations with those folks, they were angered.
I work with the public, he could teach a class over his last two years here, of how to do everything wrong regarding alienating those who matter.
We are on the uptick, or so I believe after seeing some things in just the past week. I am bought in.
Look, if anyone had a reason to bitch.... I am having to lose seats that I have bought for 12 years, donated for... all for competition and progress in the name of Razorback Athletics. So be it, just make it worth my while and WIN!
