Does Michael in Stuttgart Read This Board?

Michael, I enjoy your takes on the call in show, but I wanted to address something you said yesterday I think, when you were trying to say that this team has to continue to find different ways to win games because they can't rebound.
For context to those here that didn't hear the call, Michael was saying that because they can't rebound they have to rely on a hot shooting performance to get the wins and that makes the team "too volatile." (His exact words)
First of all the premise isn't very sound to begin with because he was using the example of a game where Arkansas was outrebounded by 20, but fails to recognize the 14 blocked shots in the same game. Secondly, when a team shoots nearly 70% from the field for an entire half of a game, there simply aren't as many rebounds to go after on your end of the court. Now, we could expect the team to crash the defensive glass better in that game, but again the team blocked 14 shots!
Point is that the stat line is closer than it appears and the up tempo style Anderson uses doesn't send as many players to the glass to begin with. They would rather get the other team running transition and so they send extra players to the defensive end in order to facilitate that.
But the main point is calling the team "too volatile." This is made as a criticism of Mike Anderson and it is patently false. He is, if anything, the exact opposite of a "volatile" coach. He hasn't ever had a losing season.
Maybe if his team was a little MORE volatile, their ceiling would be higher.
Again, love the takes, but you're flat wrong about this team.

Well, I wanted to address his point. I think he may read this board. I think a few of those dudes do.
I'm glad you found humor in the thread. I just like to talk Hogs basketball.

Do you have one of those penises that actually goes inside the body instead of outside, like a vagina?

Who tf is Micheal from Stuttgart?

He's a regular caller on Bo's show. Fancies himself a professional gambler. He is a terrific radio personality, though.
I think they need to give HIM Bo's timeslot when Bo quits.
He has a lot of ridiculous takes, like the one this thread is about, but he brings it when he calls in to the show. He is entertaining as hell.

Regular caller on the buzz that has no job.
He's a more annoying version of me.
-has no job
-calls every sports show on the buzz(show with no name, drive time, ect...ect)
-gives his shitty thoughts on the radio

"Job" in the traditional sense. If you ask me, being a professional gambler is hard work. You better be spending a lot of time doing research and you have to have the frickin balls to let it all ride.
It would be an interesting way to earn your living for sure.
Michael is a pretty gifted wordsmith though. Silver tongued devil type.
I pay attention when he calls the show. It's guaranteed to either get a chuckle out of me, or a lot of times he drops pretty good sports info.
ETA: It takes a special type of person that can confidently tell you that 6 months ago he had 0 dollars in his bank accounts and was eating beanie weenies out of a can, but that when he goes to Vegas he's considered a king maker and only does business with millionaires.

Thanks, that's why I didn't know him.
Worked for the midget, but never listen.

I'll be a little sad to see his show go. I tend to listen just about every day at work. They'll have to do some thinking on who they intend to fill that slot with. Bo's show is well produced. So if you had a hand in that, kudos.

Only worked on the Midget's house and Studio. Good family, just don't listen to Sports talk homer radio.

In my experience his show is pretty balanced. If anything I have seen him catch a lot of flak for NOT being a homer.
Tim from Little Rock (dude is just a troll) likes to tell him that he just doesn't understand Arkansas because he's from Florida and he needs to take his arse back there ASAP.
Then he usually threatens to actually IRL kick his arse.

Upvoted for the Check it Out reference.

Dude, it's pretty damn funny. Whoever plays the Tim character on the radio deserves a
too. Had a LOT of good laughs at that dudes expense.
He will shout down Bo Mattingly on his own show for minutes at a time without letting Bo say a word.
He'll be like, "hey...Hey...HEY!! (each time cutting Bo off and getting louder til he is shouting) ...Kiss my arse Bo Mattingly."

Sterling does the same thing and has the same take on every show. Shite like that caused me to stop listening to any of these shows several years ago.
