We have had three bad coaches in a row. John L. Smith was a nervous wreck. Bert looked great on paper but people who knew Wisconsin football would tell you he was a figurehead for Alvarez. Chad was a panic hire to get someone in place for the early signing period and appease Jerry Jones.

We get a pass on Smith because that really was an emergency hire. The other two were just bad hires. Surprise, even Bama has looked bad with lousy hires. If we get a good coach the next time around our fortunes will change.

The sky is not falling. We just have a crappy coach.
