The Razorbacks (2-0) won a buzzer-beater at UT-Arlington on an inbounds play with junior Jailyn Mason passing to junior Alexis Tolefree on Wednesday. A little move and a couple dribbles by Tolefree shook the defender allowing her to get the winning shot off.
Tolefree has paced Arkansas in both of its first two games scoring 19 and 18 points, respectively. While Tolefree has been outstanding in her first games as a Razorback, it’s the balance effort that has helped Arkansas to the wins.
Seven players scored in double digits in the opener and three players had 10 or more points at UTA. Three players, Tolefree, senior Malica Monk and sophomore Chelsea Dungee, average double figures this year.
About No. 22 Arizona State

Eight upperclassmen lead the team with two players, Courtney Ekmark and Kianna Ibis, averaging double figures. The Sun Devils defeated Arkansas in Arizona last season in the final game before the holiday.

88-85 loss.
Lost to them in Tempe last year 89-43.
We’ll keep improving and get better defensively with size in the paint.
