7-3 Fayetteville got a bye but 8-2 Conway did not?

LR Catholic is 10-0! wow, hope they can take it all the way in 6A (and I'm a protestant). Won't be easy, LR Christian and PA and Greenwood are good.

Would love to see some of these 8-man teams play, but they are way south and way east. Wish some more basketball-only schools would start up in this tiny 8-man level. We've all seen some hellacious great athletes at the old "B schools" in basketball.

5A should end up being Shiloh versus Joe T Robinson. Maybe Parkview upsets Robinson instead. Chesh, I wonder when your Farmington Cardinal program explodes? Much ado is made about Fayetteville having only one high school, but very many don't realize you all are 5 miles from Fayetteville High.

I hope Robinson gives Shiloh a well deserved spanking.

eat a bag of peckers rich kid.

I miss those Beebe vs PA battles in the mid 90's.

I think 97 was the year AAA changed up the whole conference and we ended up playing teams from up north.

1996 I believe, Beebe beat PA on a goal line stand. Was an awesome game.

Before the change it was Bald Knob, Beebe, Lonoke, Vilonia, Oak Grove, Joe T, PA, and maybe Greenbrier? Man those were fun times.

My guess is in the next year or two Eldridge really gets it rolling. He seems better poised to get us over the hump than Adams did and our junior high team put up some absurd numbers this year so he’s got more talent coming.

Prairie Grove being back in our conference again is really going to put the pressure on him too to continue to elevate us to the next level. He’s got all the resources he could ask for at this point so I think we’ll see continued success translate from it real soon.

CAC, Atkins, and England were in there too, it seemed to change every few years in those days

England and CAC were poo poo but Atkins was a tough out

I remember when Pea Ridge played them at Shiloh and as Pea Ridge ran onto the field before the game, Shiloh cut off the lights. No one could see and it could have injured Pea Ridge players.

But behold the lights came on for the great and mighty Shiloh.

Pea Ridge scored a TD to tie the game but wait we can't let these country bumpkins take our chosen team to OT and so they said he was short.

I asked some members of the Arkansas national guard who were neutral and had the better angle if he was short?

They said he got in, touchdown.

I believe that Eldridge will end up killing it at Farmington. Look at how he did at Arkadelphia. Honestly was very miffed when he seemed to get overlooked for the Fayetteville job. They’d be a powerhouse with him at the helm.

He would have killed it at Fayetteville with all the talent they have each year but instead went with a former razorback who was unproven. He won't last long though and Eldridge took the Farmington job and will wait on the Fayetteville job to be vacant.

Upvote. Maybe not though (in terms of him waiting for Fayetteville). If it were me, I’d be pretty pissed about being snubbed for a dude who was completely unproven and his smartest play as a college qb was laying a nice block for McFadden to score a 70yd td on against LSU in 07-08 season. Casey Dick has the same look on his face as Chad Morris and that simply can’t be a good thing. Additionally, who’s to say Bentonville wouldn’t go after him. Agree that Fayetteville would be a hell of a gig, but Eldridge was clearly screwed over for GOBN reasons. Word is people like Nutt were involved on Dick’s behalf. Eldridge has earned his merit badges on his own so far.

What a bunch of beatdowns, bam

Bryant murdered Rogers, Conway murdered Fayetteville, Bentonville murdered NLR and Cabot put it on Bentonville West pretty good.

No doubt who the top four teams in the state are

7a semi's

Conway @ Bryant
Cabot @ Bentonville

6a

Catholic's perfect season still intact by beating LR Christian

semi's

Greenwood vs Benton
LR Catholic vs Pulaski Academy

I don't know who the home teams are in these two games

5a semi's will be:

Pulaski Robinson vs Parkview
Camden Fairview vs Shiloh Christian

4a final eight

Harding Academy vs McGehee
Arkadelphia vs Rivercrest
Elkins vs Nashville
Warren vs Malvern

Chesh, I guess Elkins is the one carrying the greater Fayetteville outskirts torch - that should be Nashville AT Elkins, so I might go see that. Nashville Scrappers don't lay down.

2a

Carlisle vs Mount Ida
East Poinsett County vs Hazen

3a Final Eight

Glen Rose vs Melbourne
Osceola vs Booneville
Rison vs Prescott
Charleston vs Newport
