Good for you. I need to be eating chicken, tuna and broccoli and cut out the white carbs.

My wife and I started Insanity this morning, starting each day at 4:15am.

Not sure how long this will last. . . .

Still just cardio (elliptical usually) and eating egg whites in the morning, tuna/chicken at lunch, almost always chicken at dinner. I snack on things like pecans and yogurt.

I partake during football season so I have to eat clean during the week. I pretty much stay at the same weight but I'm getting older (metabolism killer) and need to stay in shape. I eat like a pig on weekends.

I learned the hard way not to risk a workout with lots of lower back work if it's even slightly nagging me. I think this will put me down for a week.

this is me and it's not working out as well this year as before. getting old sucks!!!

doing elliptical with every workout (still can't run) and still lifting. Just raised my lbs with quads, glutes and a few things I do with the barbell. Still curling the same. Feels like I'll never curl more than I am currently. Frustrating

not a chance I'd last with that. at 4:30 I'm waking to have my coffee and I still don't think I truly am awake until about 10 am.

I do drop sets when I do upright rows with the barbell. Best feeling of sore ever following those.

Today is my day to do those. I look forward to em every week.

I did it this week with triceps and biceps. My new favorite thing, arms are sore as hell but I love it.

It's a mind game for me. It gives me a feeling of being some bad arse that i'm really not.

plus the upright row is the one flipping thing I do better than a few of the regular guys at my gym. Granted they are smaller, but whatever.

To keep tone and buff. I guess I just love it. A LOT! Some women take up scrap booking. Same shite. I just pick up heavy stuff.

oh and I hate crossfit! I've done it at a few friends places but that's about it. People get injuries faster doing crossfit b/c of the poor form and execution..etc...etc...

In the "community" lifters/builders and crossfit jackasses typically do not like each other. It's like a pathetic version of fox news v nbc.

I got a jog in tonight - school has been kicking my butt this semester. I'll need to get a few more in with the ToughMudder approaching.

I'm following WaveHog's lead. Something didn't feel quite right doing squats on Sat, so I'm postponing deadlifts a few days to give the nagging lower back time to calm down.
