Holy shite. Is that stuff like original cell tech?? Be careful my friend.

I am still searching for a new pre workout mix for my lift days. FYI I DO take creatin. Women can take that, too. Lol. I just take mine after my workout.

I was going to try Jacked but I found out today they are pulling it off the shelves. I met with a vendor today and he was trying to convince me into cycling anavar. WTF He's injecting testosterone he said. Oh and using deer antler spray. I learned way to much.

I'm pulling about 10-12 hours days at work for the next month or so. Combine that with the fact that there are free snacks readily available, and it's a bad combination.

I usually manage to get a really healthy breakfast, then semi healthy lunch, then it's all downhill for there.

Injured my right foot, took family vacation and am now playing catch-up at work. I will get back in the gym today at lunch. I'm caught up enough to do so.

I'm still recovering from my ball joint injury, so that's dragging me down quite a bit. Mostly cardio. However, I to that.

The minion cupcakes (made with twinkies) I made for my kids this weekend sure as hell didn't help any either.

i'm jumping back into working out for the first time in awhile. a year or two ago, i was doing the Spartacus Workoutand remember it being pretty tough, so i gave it a shot. holy shite i only made it 1/3 through, it's been two days, and my legs are still sore.

nothing really brings you to reality about how out of shape you are like 2 days of painful leg soreness.

Hit the gym today, worked 6 rounds then pushups, tricep dips, planks, air squats. Warmed up with a mile long jog.

Biggest change is that I've decided to try the Paleo diet. The low carb diet was great at first but I haven't been able to sustain it. Adding the fruits and cutting out dairy for awhile is more appealing to me.

Would love to hear what diet/nutrition the other posters are following.

I was lifting pretty hard/heavy last year, until I aggravated an old sports hernia, so took several months off. I had finally figured out a routine that worked for me and, at 49, was the strongest I had ever been. Mark Rippetoe's books Starting Strength and Practical Programming for Strength Training are worth their weight in gold. I wish I had found them when I was younger - getting old sucks.

I'm easing back into things, taking Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes twice a week and a kickboxing class once a week. I get in one or two bike rides during the week and am about to try to work lifting back into the mix to see how my body tolerates it. I suspect I'll need surgery before I'll be able to go heavy again. Oh, I'm 6'2" and around 230 at the moment, working to get back down to around 200. The plan is for my weight to start with a "1" by the end of the year.

My thought on diets is I hate diets.

But, seriously. (sort of) The key for me was not trying to go into it full speed ahead. That is hard and very discouraging. At that point it became something negative for me. Give up sodas (example) and candy first. Get comfortable with that and feel accomplished. Slowly change your foods and habits. One at a time. All of a sudden it's no longer hard-but you enjoy it. What works for one doesn't for another and that's why I can't stand books about this stuff.

My weakness was flaming hot cheetos. go ahead-laugh.

Hope the Paleo diet works for you. I'm personally not a fan, but if done proper it's a solid way to eat for sure!

My meal routine has been jacked this past week. We are about to close on the purchase of 3 industrial buildings here in D and as you know SLC.....STRESS AND CHAOS
