I bet the tighter fitting clothing really is motivation for women.

No matter what type of shape I've been in, I've always been a polo shirt, or button up shirt jean/khaki type of guy.

I could see where it could really get to a woman who may have let herself go for a year or so. For women, tight, small, shoulder showing, and short shorts are in.

Down over two pounds since Monday. If I can drop 3-4 pounds in a week, I'll be super excited! I know that's not much for the guys on here, but the ladies know how unusual that is for a woman.

Next week I get to start eating some carbs again and only have to work out once a day!

I would kill for a piece of toast right about now!

If I can lose 12-15 by the end of the program, I'll be happy. That seems pretty doable in 12 weeks. Ultimately, I'd like to be down 20, but I'd be content with 15. That'll get me back to my wedding weight.

15 makes a huge difference on us. IDK how tall you are, but if you are short 15 can be quite a bit, so that's hella good.

Last night I was having major hunger pains b/c my after lunch/afternoon meal did not hold me over until dinner. I was driving home ready to kill someone for a bagel with peanut butter. damn carb cravings suck!

I'm very short, so 15 pounds will require a new wardrobe...damn the luck!

This was me yesterday. My afternoon snack @ about 4pm was celery sticks and almond butter. I didn't get home last night until 8:30, so it was 9pm before I had dinner ready. Suuuuuuuuuucked!

I'm really anxious to get past the first two weeks of workouts

33 mile bike ride today. Was pushing for 35, but I got a flat, which is a real bear with tubulars.

19. 6' 210.

Was about 245 the spring of my junior year and my mom hired a trainer. Did that for a few months and lost about 20 then didn't really work out anymore. December of Senior year i started running again and got down to 200 around spring break then started weight training from SB through summer. Got up on the Hill and with Band during FB season being so time consuming stopped working out and running. Gained the 15. Haha But started back at it over christmas break and have been at it since. Trying to get the rest of the fat off.

I do something different every day of the week.

Start off with a heavy chest and tri day on monday. With core work.
Heavy bicep day on tuesday with back work.
Heavy shoulder day on wednesday with core work.
Light chest day on thursday with back work.
Light bicep day on friday with core work.
LIght shoudler day on sat with back work.
Leg day on sunday.

Cardio alternates between 3 Mile days with a steady 10 minute mile pace and interval training for 30 minutes. Then sunday is 2 mile's steady 10 minute pace after the leg workout.

Sorry for the length. Just wanted to get in on this.

I did a full yet modified work out this weekend and ran twice. I have another week of 3 in a row due to schedule conflicts. ack! This time I know what to expect though, and hopefully it won't beat me down as bad.

Triceps, Chest, Glutes and Abs this morning, followed by a banana blueberry muffin. It was from the meal plan and really good. I made them last night and Mr. Piggy raved about them (and he has an aversion to "diet" food - part of what landed him in the hospital). Made me feel like I was cheating - work out then eat a muffin? That isn't right!

you and your damn carbs. makes me hungry

I was dating someone recently that ate like shite and was LAZY. I ate like crap when with him way too much and it's showing now in my oblique area. WTF I was doing dating someone like that...IDK. Time to kick it into high gear, though.

Starting a new workout regiment today. 1 body part per day, no doubling up.

1. Chest
2. bi's
3. shoulders
4. tri's
5. back
6. legs (Not sure if I should break up into upper and lower leg or not)

Cardio and core interspersed throughout the week. Looking forward to it, it's about time for a change.

Awesome!

We break mine up into legs, arms, core/cardio (mountain climber type cardio)...but we do core in all 3 anyway. Every w/o I run twice. I am running now on the weekends, too. Plus ride. I don't ride 30 plus miles like Ray, though.

I had been doing Back/bi, Chest/tri, Shoulder/back, Legs. I used to do this in HS. Beat the shite out of one muscle group a day with plenty of rest until you do it again
