Since my eating was atrocious last week, I'm restarting the Body Rev. program with the kickstart week. Two workouts a day, following the meal plan (i.e., no carbs )

Is it Sunday yet?

I'm in the same boat. 6'0" or 6'1" depending on who measures me and right around 155 lbs. I've been in the 140-180 lbs range, typically around 155 or 160, for my entire adult life. Mono took me to my lowest weight in the 140s. Working out and eating very deliberately during college got me to 180 lbs, but I wasn't able to maintain it for various reasons.

I'm pretty thin but my BMI is easily within the normal range. I would like to be bigger, primarily for reasons of vanity and convenience (clothes shopping would be much easier if I could get back to 175 or 180), but I'm happy at 155 lbs.

Had a cheat day, well actually it was 30 hours. Gained 5 lbs.

Worked out today, got some bag work in and 100 pushups (don't ask me how many sets it took).

I'll drop it and more by Saturday. (I hope).

we started the transition into full "real" push ups today. We only did 30 "in between ones" and yeah.... I was hurting. Thankfully, the rest of the sets were the girly ones. I'll get there doing the grown up ones soon, though!

100 box pushups. I did them in sets of 15-10 though. I'm still weaker than I should be.

It's pretty much impossible to put on an actual 5 lbs. in 1-2 days, so more than likely, your sodium intake was high and you're retaining water. Watch the sodium and it should fall right off.

Somewhat related - Mr. Piggy is down 18 pounds from his pre-surgery weight, and is only about 7 pounds from his goal weight of 195! Haven't had to fuss at him for his eating choices too terribly much!

ETA: Had greek yogurt with almonds for breakfast (which I don't plan on ever doing again), salmon salad for lunch, and hummus with carrots and red bell pepper strips for snack. Dinner is grilled filet with wilted spinach salad. Day 1 almost over!

Why not? I love Greek yogurt. I'll usually throw granola in there instead of almonds though.

Atlantic salmon and kale salad for dinner for me.

All opinions are welcome. Do you buy it fresh in the styrofoam at wal mart or frozen in a package of around 10?

The best deal if you can find it is when Wally World has the skin on Salmon side filets, you get 3-4 large filets and a couple smaller tail end pieces. Used to be about 6 bucks, just season it, bake it and peel the skin off with a fork and you're golden.

Both. For dinner like meals I buy fresh from sprouts usually. For my lunch portion I use the small frozen fillets and cook it the morning before I leave for work.

Other seasonings i use...

Brush with olive oil, sprinkle with cayenne, salt, and any type of herb. I'm kind of a herb freak and use a variety but ones you would know of and can use easily are sweet basil and parsley (dried).

Good old standby is olive oil, lemon juice, and pepper.

Busy man...these women are ruthless, guys too. Never knew so many men enjoyed tanning.

I tanned this morning for the first time and burnt my arse.

I like Greek yogurt, but I need something a little sweet with it (usually fruit, although granola would have enough sweetness too). Since this is a no sugar week, no fruit with the yogurt. Just yogurt, cinnamon and almonds was

Probably going to do about a half an hour Wii fit again today.

I can really feel the burn.

Usually pretty simple- Marinade in olive oil, pepper, cayenne pepper, top it with lemons or limes in the oven (Oranges are pretty good too.) If I feel like adding, I might throw on some basil, parsley, garlic, or some combination.

I did work at the Premium Outlets in San Marcos over the last two days. Most of the stuff is form fitting, so I've got newfound motivation to get back into it. I'm between sets (chest and tris) as I type.

it's amazing how much small tight clothing can motivate you

My body is exhausted today. My trainer had to go out of town this week so instead of a M,W,F schedule with breaks...I had to do M,T,W. I am a mess from shoulders to calves. We do an hour of HIIT-crossfit. 3 days in a row of it has killed me since I'm used to recovery days. I could all day.
