I was surprised at how well the Lady Razorbacks are doing in a variety of sports this year. We have a Natty in track (and would have probably won a second but the NCAA scheduled the championship meets only a couple of days apart, basically forcing us to only use our best athletes for one of them).

The women's softball team is one win away from ensuring a least a share of the SEC title and is ranked 7th in the country. Our women's soccer team is also ranked and just advanced to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA championship. While our women's basketball team had a disappointing early exit from the NCAAs we did have two ladies get drafted into the WNBA.

Have we ever been this good, across so many sports, men and women, at the same time?

WBB didn't have the tournament we all wanted but they beat UConn and Baylor in the regular season and those type wins help get/keep top recruits.

Women's golf is in a NCAA Regional for the 18th straight time, starts a week from tomorrow.

Women's gymnastics was also a top 6 program this year (their highest ranking ever I believe) and has an f-ing Olympic Gold medalist as the coach to lure elite recruits. I fully expect gymnastics to contend for a national title in the next 5-10 years.

I don't Know who is to get all the credit for the shape the entire AD, but Hunter has hit two home runs on three at bats so far on his hires, with the jury still out on one of them.
